To Get Your Website Started

To create your project we will require the following information:

1. Project Information

We will require an overview of your requirements, information about your business or project and the services or products you provide.

We will use this information as a basis for the entire website developement process so it is important we know as much as possible about your organisation before getting started.

2. Design Specification

If you wish to specify the design of your website or online solution please supply us with a Design Specification detailing colours, layout, images, logo, design templates and ideas etc.

If you do wish to specify the website design, or you do not have a website design in mind we can create a unique website design for you that is suited to your budget.

Website designs will be professionally created in consultation with you to fit in with any existing identitys, logos and graphics that you use.

Preview website designs can be created and sent to you for your approval.

It is important that you are satisfied with any preview website designs before approving them as changes to the design after it has been approved will incur additional costs.

3. Website Content

You may wish to provide your own website content and have it optimised by a web copywriter or have one of our professional web copywriters take on all of the website copywriting on your behalf.

If you would like to supply your own website content this can be emailed to us.

If you are planning to purchase a website package with the DBS Content Management System included you will be able to add and modify the websites content yourself whenever you require.

We can add and format all of the website content for you if required.

4. Custom Solutions Specification

If you are purchasing a custom solution or require custom functionality one of our developers will usually discuss the custom solutions specification with you during the initial consultation and give you further details of what we require.

This will be used as a guide during the developement process, it is very important that we have an exact specification of every aspect of functionality before providing a fixed quote, as changes to this specification will incur additional charges.

5. Hosting

We can provide reliable affordable website hosting services ensuring your website is always fast and online.

If you are planning on using 3rd party hosting services, these services will need to be assessed for suitability, we will require administrator access in order to carry out the required tests.

6. Digital images or images for scanning

Supply us with any images that you require for your website.

If you know the images you require but do not own the copyright for such image we can supply them for you by arrangement, please give information on the images you require.

Images can be sent via email or on CD by post.

Ready to go

When you have all the above information ready you can mail or email it to us giving your email address and company name for reference and your contact details. We will review the information provided immediately and give you a quote and completion time.
